Loaded, Stolen Gun Found In Dutchess County Traffic Stop — Trio Charged, Cops Say
Three men face felony charges after police said they found them with a loaded stolen handgun during a traffic stop in Dutchess County.
The stop happened in Poughkeepsie at around 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 14, in the area of Rinaldi Boulevard and Laurel Street, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
During the stop, officers found a loaded 9mm Taurus G2C handgun inside the vehicle, according to police.
The handgun had been reported stolen out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
